The Baltic Bees Jet Team is a world-renowned civilian aerobatic jet team based in Jurmala, Latvia. Founded in 2008, our mission is to bring the thrill, beauty, and technical excellence of jet aviation to audiences and individuals across the globe.

Flying the legendary L-39C Albatros, our pilots - former military and commercial aviation professionals - perform breathtaking maneuvers with absolute precision, grace, and safety.     What can I say other than what a truly amazing experience! I would recommend this to anyone. This is definitely a big tick off the bucket list for me. Initially I was a bit nervous about the day but the staff were very professional and able to settle my nerves and set my expectation. On the day the experience was very easy, I was picked up at the hotel and transported to the airfield. The journey allows ample time to acquaint with the staff. On arrival at the airfield you receive all the relevant information about the flight, safety procedures and are asked what you want to get out of the flight. Boy do they deliver! 40 minutes of sheer exhilaration is the only way I can describe it. We looped, rolled, flew fast and low it was truly amazing. At the end you get to take photos with the jet as a momento of the day and you can have a video of the whole thing to keep the experience alive. I cannot recommend this enough, do it, do it, do it! I hope to be back very soon 👌

    The flight could be used during the year after purchase and the date could be changed free of charge.

    Can I eat food before the flight?
    Answer:
    All people are unique in there physiology, but to minimize the chance to feel sick
    during the flight our recommendation is not to take food 1,5 hours before the flight
    or to have just lite snacks during this period

    You need to take just a good mood as all the rest we will provide for you. (Flight
    gear, water, coffee, rest room)

    Are there physiological limits for performing an L-39 flight?
    Answer:
    Yes. The maximum height is 210cm, and the maximum weight is 110kgs. The
    minimum age is 14 years old with parental consent. On the other hand, back
    problems and serious heart problems require a doctors advice.
  • Question:
    When is the best time to fly?
    Answer:
    We fly all year round. It is impossible to define a favorite season. Autumn charms us
    with the variation of colors, winter the air is very calm and the plane performs better
    thanks to the cold, spring offers a stunning contrast between snow-covered glaciers
    and forests already green, and summer cumulus clouds which are pleasant
    playmates.

    What happens if the weather is bad?
    Answer:
    Three days before the flight we will call you with a weather decision. We want this
    experience to be unforgettable so we never hesitate to postpone in case of whims of
    the sky. If this should unfortunately be the case, we will immediately suggest several
    postponement dates.
  • Question:
    How to prepare optimally for this experience?
    Answer:
    A light snack two hours before the flight is recommended. The empty stomach is to
    be avoided, your sugar level should be high enough. Bring clothes suitable for the
    weather, and shoes that hold well on the feet. We will provide you with a flight suit
    as well as a military pilots helmet.
